Before you begin.
Can I start for free?
Yes. You can create an account and start building surveys. AI features have usage limits, so AI generation is not unlimited.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Add and reorder questions in the builder, customise the design, then publish and copy your link. To embed a survey in a website, paste the provided code into a page that supports embeds.
Can I build and share surveys in Arabic?
Yes. The workspace supports English and Arabic, including right-to-left layouts. Choose the survey’s language for participant controls and write your questions in that language. Changing the language does not automatically translate questions or existing responses.
Will Copilot change my questions automatically?
Copilot gives you a draft to review and edit before you add questions. Text is the default; voice input is optional and depends on browser support. AI-generated questions and reports should be reviewed before use.
What happens if I edit a survey that has responses?
Question editing is locked once responses exist, helping preserve the meaning of the results. Duplicate the survey to create a new version. Existing responses stay with the original survey.
Can I take my responses out of Excellent Survey?
Yes. The Responses view offers CSV, Excel, Print / PDF and SPSS exports. Analytics also provides summary and audience CSV exports. When working with a large survey, load the responses you need before exporting.
